The role of Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) is a nuanced one, requiring both the clinical know-how of psychiatry and empathetic approach of caregiving. They are required to deal with people who are at their most vulnerable on a regular basis and need to develop specific skills for the same.
NP One Source is a one-stop educational hub made specifically for PMHNPs, that aims to address their unique needs in clinical decision-making, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and professional development.

Our founder, Dr. Kondal Madaram
Dr. Kondal Madaram, MD, is a highly respected psychiatrist with considerable experience in both child and adult psychiatry. He is licensed in multiple states and currently holds the following positions:
- Chief Medical Officer at Holly Hill Hospital in Raleigh, NC
- Chairman of Psychiatry at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC
- Medical Director at several Recovery Innovations sites
Dr. Madaram has dedicated much of his career to advancing psychiatric care. His leadership roles, academic contributions, and military service reflect his deep commitment to mental health. Through NP One Source, he aims to empower PMHNPs with the knowledge and confidence needed to excel in their careers, ultimately improving patient care and expanding access to quality mental health services.
